There are several areas of our work – including participatory youth grantmaking – that directly evolved from knowledge gained and connections made at GTY. GTY is my space for building connections and sustaining them. There is such a rich diversity of perspectives in philanthropy…it’s so valuable to hear from people who are immersed in a different part of the youth-serving sector.
