Max Margolius

Director of Research, Center for Promise America’s Promise Alliance

As Director of Research at the Center for Promise, Max leads research projects focusing on understanding and supporting young people’s learning and development. Prior to joining America’s Promise, Max spent over a decade serving young people and leading programs in both K12 and out-of-school settings.


Rachel Stephens-Murphy

Manager of Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships, America’s Promise Alliance

Over the past decade, Rachel’s work has focused on dismantling inequities in the private, public and educational sectors. Prior to her current role with America’s Promise, she taught elementary school and served as Director of Community Initiatives at the YMCA in Tulsa. In her role at the YMCA, Rachel led Tulsa’s participation in the Wallace Foundation’s Partnerships for Social and Emotional Learning Initiative.
