Grantmakers Concerned with Immigrants and Refugees is inviting philanthropic partners to share the names of trusted nonprofits and civil society organizations that are actively addressing the needs of asylum seekers using this form.

Background: Individuals and families who are forced to flee their countries of origin in search of safety and protection continue to face a host of restrictive government policies that limit their right to seek asylum in the US and beyond. To facilitate the efforts of funders seeking to address the needs of asylum seekers and displaced populations, GCIR has begun compiling a list, based on recommendations from philanthropic partners, of nonprofit and civil society organizations on the front lines of this response.
